Another week domestication of blistering sunshine, thunderstorms and torrential rain, a little arting and a brand new iPhone!
I wanted to experiment with a burlap/canvas page in my Dina Wakley multi surface art journal. I also have some Ranger crackle texture paste that I wanted to use to see if I could get a good crackle effect on the burlap.
To add colour to the page I’ve used a mixture of Dylusions ink sprays with water to dilute them down just a little as I didn’t want to use them full strength. The video below shows in real time how I created the page. The only thing taken out of the video is the time spent drying with my heat tool. To watch simply click the YouTube link below.
I created this canvas using some keys that I picked up that were supposed to be decorative garden ornaments. As soon as I saw them I knew immediately what I could do with them. Today I got my chance to use one out of the 4! To see how I created the canvas from start to finish click the YouTube link below.
I really enjoy making these canvases and I hope you do too. I don’t make enough as they take up some much time, but I really enjoy it when I do!
This was a quick art journal page that I created using my new “Spirit of Nature” art journal collage digi set. There’s no paint, no stencils, no matte medium, just ink, stamps, paper and a little glue! As the weather is so hot here in the UK today, I really wasn’t in the mood for all that mess.
You can find more info on the “Spirit of Nature” art journal collage set by clicking the image below.
Anyhoo…here’s the video of the full creation process from start to finish, simply click the YT image to watch. Enjoy! But be kind – I have feelings too!
