I wanted to use an old image I’ve had in my “vintage” stash for quite a while. The image is a fun, whimsical photo of two music hall or circus acrobats. I love the striped costumes and frilled shorts. It’s such a fun picture and a perfect one to show or convey “Balance”!
I also couldn’t resist adding a moustache on to the top guy! The page is in my Dina Wakley Multisurface Journal. I used acrylic paints and a Distress Marker for the colours. To see how I created the page from start to finish you can click the YouTube image below.
So, this is my art journal page for the Mid Month Mini Mission: Inspiration for April, which is the word “Move”. I’ve created this using a page of 300gsm (140lb) watercolour cardstock from my Mission: Inspiration art journal. To see how I created the page from start to finish click the YouTube image below to watch!
If you haven’t joined us on the Mission: Inspiration Facebook group yet, there’s still time – just click the link below and ask to join in the fun!
I was asked to create a doggy-themed journal for viewer Elizabeth in Scotland…she’s kindly allowed me to share what I created for her.
I have filmed a flip through of the journal so you can see what I included and how I made it specifically for her needs. You can see the flip through by clicking the YouTube link below or by clicking on the gallery of pics at the bottom of this post.
