Longtime friend of my YouTube channel Laura asked a question in the comments of my video last week, where I used Distress Inks and water to watercolour an art journal page. Laura asked whether the same could be done for solvent or spirit based inks and alcohol.
I couldn’t answer the question without first putting it to the test! Click below to watch the results of my experiments.

Time to have a play in my large Dylusions art journal with July’s Mid Month Mini Mission: Inspiration word which is “Power”. Please feel free to save the graphic below and use in your own art journal or mixed media projects.
I also used a new digi download collage kit called Heavenly Creation (click below for more details on the new kit).

Today I’ve been playing in my Dylusions Creative Flip Journal with some new stamp sets just released from IndigoBlu.com. These three new stamp sets feature some cool images, especially for art and artists.
I decided to dust off some of my Distress Inks and have a play at stamping and water colouring using the Distress Inks and a water brush.
Details of the new stamps can be found by clicking the IndigoBlu images below. In case you’re wondering, I’m NOT getting any commission..lol!
