We’re back and in full flow – click below to watch our week and get the full update on what’s been going on in our lives for the past few weeks!
For some strange reason, this post didn’t go live yesterday when it should have! Oops! I’m releasing it now if you haven’t already seen the video!
Today I’m playing in my large Dylusions Creative Journal, creating an art journal page with very little to it. An exercise in leaving white space and using restraint – which is so difficult! For many of us, leaving so much white space is counter-intuitive and goes against everything we feel should be doing or adding into in an art journal page. Click below to watch how I created this page and my thought process behind leaving all the white space.

I lost a lot of data files when we were burgled back in August, including all of my signature and graphics files I used for making my journals.
So over the past few weeks, I’ve been slowly recreating some of them and getting back into the swing of making some journals. Some I’ve created as commissions and this one I created just for the sheer fun of making it.
It helped me so much to get back into practice! It was so much fun to do the research and to build and I hope you enjoy watching the flip through of the pages and ephemera.
All of the ephemera printables were curated from websites that were free to download, such as instructables.com and some from official Warner Bros websites. To watch the flip through click the YouTube link below.

Here’s a fun and whimsical art journal page in my large Dylusions Creative Journal using the November Mid Month Mini Mission word as my inspiration! This month the word is “Trust”.
