A busy weekend means not a lot of time for art journaling, however, I managed to slip into my art room to steal a few minutes to play in my small Dylusions creative journal on Sunday evening. I wanted to use the Distress Ink property of not being permanent to create my ghosted background and use a warm yellow/orange palette to go with the existing grey of my mop up page.

Not every page you create has to have multiple layers of ephemera, book text pages and texture paste to be effective. Some great backgrounds can be created simply and quickly.
