Week 11 over at Journal52 has the prompt of “Gentle” so I wanted to explore gentle colours and a relaxing image for my art journal page. I found this great poem to use which gave me the perfect image and quote for the page.

It’s my father’s 75th birthday in a few days so I thought I’d make him a birthday card using my new “Alice” digi collection. Dad and I have always enjoyed the silliness that comes from the Alice stories, particularly the bits about nonsense and being mad! It’s something we both can identify with!
To watch how I create his card from start to finish click the YouTube image above. For more information on the Alice digi collection, click below.
The collection is a real versatile set that can be used for scrap booking, art journaling and card making for both men and women. It’s a cool addition to any digi stash!
I just couldn’t wait to play with this new digi download set called “Steampunkery”. I love the texture papers and the sheet of dials and gauges, they’re just perfect for creating steampunk themed art projects and what better way to show them off than to create a mixed media art tag. The Steampunkery set can be found below, just click the image.
To watch the full creation of the art tag simply click the YouTube image below. It was a lot of fun to create and I hope you enjoy watching it all come together.
