Week 2 over at Journal52.com is “Hope”, so I thought I’d create a fun mixed media art tag using my new pointy finger digi sheet (see it here) and a corrugated cardboard tag. The tag is the same size as a No8 Ranger tag as I used one as a template.
On Today’s page, which is a quickie one, I’m playing with a new(ish) art journal collage digital download set from my website called “She Walks…” If you’d like more info on the digi kit, please click the image below.
I’m also playing with some Luscious Pigment Powders from IndigoBlu which they very kindly sent to me as a present!
The powders contain a binder so you can add water to make paints, add them to gel medium or embossing paste for a full on luscious colourful metallic sheen! You can also sprinkle them on your pages and add water for a cool, wicked watercolour effect. They’re a very versatile resource to have in your stash! Verdict: Mikey Likey!
If you’d like some more information on the Luscious Pigment Powders you can click the image above to visit the IndigoBlu website. They do ship internationally!
To watch the whole process of the creation of my art journal page from start to finish you can click the YouTube image below. Don’t forget to give it a thumbs up!
Today I’m excited to share with you a page from my mini circle art journal page. Why am I excited? Well the papers used are a new set of digi papers and ephemera available to purchase for download from my website that I’ve recently added. Click below for more info.
BUT!! The focal image you may recognise as one of my “Mini Me” digi stamps, isn’t! It’s from a new set of red rubber stamps that have been issued by IndigoBlu using my designs. How cool is that! Click below to visit their website for more info, they do ship internationally!
I have filmed the whole creation process for the art journal page using all these scrummy new products that you can watch from start to finish by clicking the YouTube image below.
I do hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed playing with all these new resources.
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away when I first started to art journal I struggled for ideas and inspiration for page content. Then I discovered Journal52.com, problem solved! I followed each week like a devotee and even started to create a few YouTube videos using the weekly prompts, then in 2016 the website changed hands and I didn’t like the new direction the website was heading so I stopped visiting…now in 2017, they’re doing things in a way I like, so I’m gonna start to play along once again..so here’s Week#1
The prompt is “PORTAL”, make of that what you will, a doorway, gateway, opening…Each week Journal52.com will give us a graphic and a little prompt help.
