Inspired by an art journal page by Ngaire Ashdown from Australia, I thought I’d have a go at creating an art journal page based on her layout. This is the full start to finish art journal page. Click below to watch.
Another week over, more gardening bits, a not broken video camera, some driving bits and a slightly but not seriously injured Mr Bentley. Welcome to the week that was May 2020 – WK#3. Click below to watch our week!
In today’s Steampunk Tuesday episode with Ian, he shows three new handmade journals he’s created with a theme of “The Greatest Detective” which in this case refers to Sherlock Holmes. All three handmade journals feature a fantastic array of Sherlockian ephemera, evidence cards, weapons, suspects, police and coroners report sheets, maps and tuck spots – a fully interactive and fun creation. Click below to watch the flick through of these magnificent journals.
If you’d like to purchase The Greatest Detective” journal ephemera set to create your own Victorian Sherlockian journal, the digital download of the 12 page kit can be found below.
If you’re interested in purchasing one of the three journals featured in this post/video, you can pop across to Ian’s website by clicking the link below – but hurry – it’s on a first come first served basis and there are only one each of the three colours!
Besides having huge technical issues with my video camera I still managed to complete the full project of creating a mixed media collage art tag for May 2020’s Mid Month Mini Mission: Inspiration. You can see the collection of words for Mays Mini below.
