Art Journal Page – Lesson 175

In this art journal page I wanted to create a dark and distressed page with a collage heavy element in the bottom left hand corner of the page. I’ve used ephemera pieces to build up the collage and added dark browns, greens and reds to the background. To watch the whole creation process from start to finish, click the YoUtube link below.

Collage Art Journal Page with Distress Crayons – House

In this art journal page in my 8×8 junk & disorderly art journal I wanted to dust off my Distress Crayons and have a play with some vintage images and a vintage style colour theme. To see how I created the page from start to finish, click on the YouTube link below to watch the whole process from start to finish.

I hope you enjoy watching the process as much as I did creating the page. If you did – please give the video a thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven’t done so already. It really does help me keep my channel and website up and running!

Circle Art Journal Page – Move On

I’ve always been one to look forward to tomorrow rather than dwell on things that happened in the past. I’m a very different person today than I was 20, 10 or even 2 years ago. I allow my yesterdays to inform and prepare me for my tomorrows but for me the past is somewhere I prefer not to live.

In this collaged art journal page I’m exploring memory with a muted and pared down colour palette in my circular art journal.

Circle Art Journal Page – Skin Deep

I haven’t done a collaged art journal page using magazine cutouts for a while, so I thought I’d have a rake through my collage collection to see if there were any images that grabbed my attention and sparked my creativity. I also wanted to see how my charcoal pens worked and blended on the glossy magazine pages.

To watch how I created this art journal page in my small circle art journal then click below. The video is filmed in real time with only the drying time cut out.

I hope you enjoy watching how the page was created and that you’ll give the video a thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube channel for more videos just like this one!
