April 2020 – Mid Month Mini Mission: Inspiration Art Tag

It’s time for another Art Tag project based on our random letter generator for the Mid Month Mini Mission: Inspiration art challenges. This month the letter chosen at random was “C”.

I’ve gone for the words “Cats & Creature” plus I’ve used all “Collage” on my art tag for the month! Click below to watch my entire process from start to finish!

“Love this Life”

Today it’s heavy rain and strong winds outside my window, so I really don’t want to venture outside for any reason at all. I’d much rather stay inside where it’s warm and cozy and create an art journal page in my Volume of the Dolls with some happy and bright colours, with some Tim Holtz paper dolls and a little grunge and distress thrown in for good measure!

The two stencils I’ve used in this double page spread are my two new designs for January. Links can be found below!

Page 4 – Volume of the Dolls

For today’s page I wanted to create another double page spread in my new altered book the Volume of the Dolls which, if you haven’t seen it already, is where I’m trying to use up some of the small mountain of die cut paper dolls from Tim Holtz Idea-ology range. Over the past few years I’ve amassed a fair few of these little gems and this new/old altered book seemed a good place to create a themed piece of interactive artwork!

If you missed the video where I created and altered the book, you can watch it by clicking the YouTube link below.
