I’m desperately in need of some new thank you cards so decided to batch create a dozen using the new Distress Oxide inks and the Paper Dolls from Tim Holt Idea-ology and an assortment of ephemera bits n pieces. To watch how I created the cards click the YouTube link below.
It’s Father’s Day here in the UK this weekend and so I thought I’d make my Dad a card using some of the recent Tim Holtz purchases that I have in my collection. So I found a great cut out from the Paper Dolls, plus some great layering pieces from the Collector Layers ephemera and the word “DAD” spelled out in alpha chips. Teamed up with a little Vintage Photo Distress Oxide and a piece of patterned paper sent to me in happy mail recently. I’m sure Dad will love the card as the colours and style are right up his street! If you enjoyed the video don’t forget to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven’t already!
I’ve had this 8×6 canvas kicking around my studio for a while, I’d already put some texture paste on it, left it to dry naturally then I just seemed to forget it was there…So I decided to do something with it. To watch how the canvas was created from start to finish and see what products I’ve used simply click the image below.
This canvas was a lot of fun to create and I could easily make a few more in different colour ways as a set, maybe I will! I’ve included a few close up pics of the canvas so that you can see the dimension a bit better!
